Change link color for specific instance only

For the site I’ve set the link color to be red but for a specific instance I’d like it to be black. How do I do that? I tried making the link a class (case-link) and in the CSS I put this:

.case-ink {
color: #000000;
}

.case-link:hover {
color: #b61300;
}

No luck. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for writing in.

You are almost right of your code above. However you need to be more specific of your CSS.

For example, after you have added a class to the link.

.case-link a{
color:#000;
} 

.case-link a:hover{
color: #b61300;
}
