Hi There, I have a html video in a layer (because I think I can’t have it NOT autoplay as a background). I have the large control ON but it is not only front and center right over the logo on the poster image, it looks wonkey.
Can I change the button image (I think it is a font image) and can I change the positioning of this play button…perhaps centered left-right but lower?

Thank you for writing in, are you referring to the Video element? Regretfully, you can only configure the colors of the controls but not its position, and no you can not change its button image.

Is it possible to not have that control on, but insert a layer with my own button that starts the video to play as the action?
And how do I configure the colors if that is my only option?
You can see from my screen shot that the position and color makes it very difficult to see over the poster image with logo:

What you have in mind is only possible with custom development. A javascript listener is needed so that when you custom button is click, the code will instruct the video to play. Regretfully this is beyond the scope of our support as it now involves modifications and coding. You may need to contact a 3rd party developer if you are not comfortable with codes. Please understand that our support only covers getting your site set up, bug fixes and troubleshooting.
