Hello, I’d like to change HOME Page design layout of our website (LWTC.edu). I have attached the new design layout for your review. Could you please help me how to change the old design layout to the new design layout. It is a major change. We do not have development site. NO mistakes! So I need your help. Please guide me. Thanks.

I LOST a lots of time. PLEASE I need help ASAP. THANK YOU for your understanding.

Hi Yesim,

Firstly, if you are working on a live site and do not want to make the changes in a development site, what you can do is to duplicate the current homepage then make the changes in the duplicated page so that the current homepage will not be disrupted while you’re building the new page.

After the new homepage is done, you can go to Wordpress Admin > Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays then set the new page as the static homepage.

As for the new layout of the header area, try adding a new section with two columns and set the column size to 1/3 2/3 then add a Navigation Layered element to the left and the slider to the right.

You will have to style further the navigation so that it will reflect your design.

My recommendation would be that you post the requirement in Peer to Peer group. I am sure you will get good response there. You can also post the same requirement on Facebook X Theme group.
