Change Headline Default Type

I understand that the default headline comes in as a H1 tag, but for SEO purposes I need to remember to change all but one to another type. Is there a way to default the headline to an H2 or H3 tag and I can choose my H1?

Hello @vinwilli72,

Thanks for writing to us.

In order to change the Headline heading tag I would suggest you go to the Headline element —>HTML tag–>select the tag as per your SEO requirement. Please have a look at the screenshot below.

HI. Thanks for the response. I am aware of that area and use it. My question was that it defaults to h1 which is the least valuable since I only need 1 of those per page. Can it be defaulted to a different level? Say h2?

Hi @vinwilli72,

Unfortunately, the default HTML tag set for the Headline element is h1, and it can’t be changed. If you want it changed, you need to do it manually, the way suggested by my colleague.

Thanks

Ok, thanks. it might be something adding to another build. Currently, everyone has to change it more often by defaulting to H1 (assuming they are following best practices). Just a thought. Have a great day.

Hey @vinwilli72,

You’re most welcome!
