Change font in Ethos 1

Good evening.
I’d like to change the font in my posts and in general, in the Header logo (which is Hagar Lane) because in Ethos 1 the font used is no so sweet to read. I’d like a font type as Raleway, for example, which is sweet. I have seen that I can’t select a different font type in the masks, because X Theme change it with its font, but I don’t like it so much: it hasn’t a good readibility, in my opinion, compared with a lot of web sites that I have seen in these days.
Please, can you help me in order to find where and how I can change the font type of my website and blog?
Thank you so much.
Best regards.

Hello Patrizia,

Thanks for writing in!

To change the font family for your Ethos site, please go to X > Theme Options > Typography. You can change the font family for the text logo, headings and for the body and contents.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi RueNel,
I went first of all in Tipography, but I can’t find where I can select my font at all.
I have only Inherit, Body Copy, Headings, but there isn’t anything where I can select my font.
Please can you tell me exactly where in Tipography I can change my font? Perhaps I have to change Inherit with Body Copy and then I can change the fonts it in another place?
Thank you.
Best regards

Hi Patrizia,

The Body Copy and Headings that you’re seeing are font templates, and you have to create your font templates with your selected font setting first. Example,

Go to Theme Options and click the Cog (gear) icon and click Fonts tab.

Then click Add New and choose your preferred font

In that sample, I named the font template as Font 4. With that, I can choose Font 4 from Typography setting.

Hope this helps

RAD, THANK YOUUUUUU
