Change featured image link on blog index page

The featured image on the blog index page currently contains the post permalink. But the post title also contains the post permalink. How can I change the link on the featured image to go to a different page instead of to the permalink to the single-post-page?

Unfortunately, changing featured image URL to a custom source will fall outside the scope of support we can offer as it will require custom development. I suggest you to kindly get in touch with a developer in case you are not comfortable with programming.
