Change destination of "view cart" button

Hello!

I’ve been trying to change the formatting of my checkout and cart pages with a different plugin but have been getting conflicts when assigning the new pages through woocommerce.

HOWEVER I know I could achieve my desired result if I could only change the destination of the “view cart” button inside the mini cart and have it point to the URL of the new page without calling upon woocommerce. Same goes for the checkout page.

Does this make sense? And is this achievable? So when people click on the buttons inside the minicart I can have them go to a custom URL?

Thank you for your help!

Just for clarity, when I try assigning the new page as the cart page from the woocommerce menu, there is a conflict and it breaks all of the formatting. However the newly built page looks fine as long as it’s not called on by woocommerce. So basically just looking for a workaround where I can have the buttons from the mini cart and possibly the cart and checkout buttons globally wherever else they may show up, go to a custom URL assigned through maybe JAVA or php or something?

Thank you again!

Hey Garrett,

Regretfully, that is only possible through custom development and it’s not included in our product support. We’d be happy to point you to the right direction in our One plan.

Thank you for understanding.

What kind of coding would accomplish this? can you tell me that at least so I can go about finding a developer?

Thank you for your help

Hey Garrett,

This is best done using PHP.

Hope that helps.
