Thanks for writing in!
Please upload your image with at least 1600x1600 in size. You may need go to X > Theme Options > Layout and Design > Site Max Width and set it to 1200. All of the image uploaded more than 1200 will be cropped automatically and displayed as 1200 pixel wide.
