Change a text field to a datepicker in woo checkout editor

Hi there,
i have added some custom checkout fields, one of them being a billing_birthday field. I would like to change that field from type text to datepicker. Woud you help please?
Maybe it could be done by adding a new field type datepicker to this extension?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no such a field type in the extension. But we will add this as a feature request. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

If you want to manually have the field as a Datepicker, you need to add a proper jQuery UI code to select the text field in question and force the DatePicker functionality following the guide below:

This is a customization request and outside of our support scope, we will not be able to implement the feature for you.
