Centering Menu

Hi there,

I’m trying to center a menu but I’m not sure which combination of vh, vw or em margin/padding that I need.

The menu is a collapsed navigation on the far right of my header. When collapsed it is fine. When expanded however the text for the menu items are getting cut off in mobile. How do I center it to be responsive on mobile and desktop? Also, how do I center the text itself. It seems to be aligned left.

If you want the menu to be at the center, please use Navigation Modal instead.

Thanks. That was exactly what I was looking for. Now that it’s corrected another problem arises:

Safari shows the hamburger incorrectly, but Google chrome shows it as it should be.

Hi there,

I checked on Mac, iPhone and iPad’s Safari and I don’t see any issue like that. What version of safari you’re testing it with?

I’m testing with Safari 11.0.2

I might be able to troubleshoot it myself, but when I edit in the header none of the changes show up in the preview window. I have to save first and then refresh. This problem is in both browsers and I think I meet the memory requirements.

I have tested in a lower version of Safari and it is still working and displaying correctly.
Please check out my screenshot:

Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.

Interesting. Clearing The Browser Cache and restarting Safari doesn’t work but private browsing does.

Anyway…I’ll jump over to chrome. No worries. It’ll work out eventually.

Any idea why the preview in the header editor isn’t reflecting changes?

Hey There,

This could just be a browser cache issue since private browsing mode displays the correct one. You might need to do hard refresh and clear cache.
