Hi, I have just edited a category and added in a 150 word or so description/introduction and saved it and when the category page is viewed the description is missing.

Is there an option to turn this on?

Regretfully there is no option to display the category discription. It would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

Alternatively, if you have an idea about coding, please have a look at this thread for reference.

Hi Dexter,

You can add the sample code shown in the reference thread into the functions.php of your child theme. I have tested the code in my local environment and it worked.

Please remember that the above code will work if copied as it is and doesn’t conflict with any existing style.
Please note that the code provided serves only as a guide to help you get started custom coding on your own if there’s no option offered in our theme or the products we bundle.
We really do not provide support for custom codes that means we can’t fix it in case it conflicts with something on your site nor will we enhance it.
