Category page not showing the right content

This page is the frontpage of a blog. The blog contains three categories and when I look at these categories (archive layouts) in Cornerstone they all look fine and as far as I can tell, and the conditions is set up as they should.

These two categories (and archive layouts) works just fine:

But this category/archive page: https://practica.dk/emne/voksne/ - shows the same content as the blog frontpage /viden/??

I’ve spend hours trying to solve it, but I can’t find a solution. What am I doing wrong?

I would request please share the admin login details meanwhile I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.   • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

Hello @Kobber,

It seems that you have created a custom archive layout that is rendering on the post archive pages. I checked your Post Element settings, and it appears that the Looper Provider is set to Recent Posts. Please note that you need to set the Looper Provider to Off, as there is no need for an extra loop on the archive page since the default loop is already working there.

Please set the Looper Provider to Off and keep the Looper Consumer enabled. This will display the posts on the blog page, and when the category pages are visited, it will automatically display the posts for the specific category.

The content in the first section is static, and the content in the left column of the second section is also static, so it will render the same on all archive pages.

Thanks @prakash_s, but I think you’re misunderstanding the issue. Could you please login again and have a look at the archive layout named “Voksne kategori”. When viewing that in Cornerstone it looks as it should, but have a look at the url: https://practica.dk/emne/voksne/ - which would be the page for that layout. Why is it not the correct design/layout on the url?

Hello @Kobber,

It seems that you have created a custom archive layout for a specific category page, but the layout is not rendering due to aggressive caching. I went ahead and purged all the cache from the cache plugin and increased the layout priority so it can render properly. Please check your page now.

Also, please clear your browser cache, temporarily deactivate the cache plugin after clearing its cache, and then check it again.
