Catalog thumbnails ratio 1:1 not working

Hello,

Although i set ration to 1:1 , images keep original ratio , which is not 1:1
Is my settings Ok?
needless to say, thumbnails were regenerated
i am using the renew stack

Your thumbnail width is too big. Try to reduce it to 150

Well ,
The 600 on 600 represents the image on single product page as well …
When I reduce it to 150 on 150 the product page image shrinks to 150

Hi David,

Have you tried installing force regenerate thumbnails plugin and generate the images? Changing image size will not take effect on already uploaded images. It will only take effect to newly uploaded ones.

And, 1:1 is only applicable if the image being resized has enough dimension for cropping. Example, if your image is 600x500, then it will remain 600x500, but if you upload 600x900, then it may generate 600x600. Cropping will only work if there is enough part to crop.
