Cart Item Count Indicator

Hello,

No site in particular but I have a lot of Pro sites that run WooCommerce and all use Pro’s cart elements in the header.

Obviously key thing missing here is an item count indicator which you used to have out of the box with X back in the day - The description for the option is still there but obviously doesn’t work as there is no selector available although it didn’t work with Pro anyway:

Your cart elements have come along way since X - it’s a shame that it’s missing the final touch in making it perfect.

Is there anything that you recommend or have available to activate this feature?
Back when it was only X in the old forum which I’m unable to find my old topics there was a fix to install this manually when we custom added widgets into the header.

Hi J,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Displaying an item count in the Cart element can be easily achieved by using Dynamic Content. All you need to do is to enable the Text Setup in the Toggle and use Dynamic Content to show the count (see screenshots)

Or you can simply paste the following code in the Primary Text field:

{{dc:woocommerce:cart_items}}
