Carousel Rev Slider-Slides do not collapse

As different users view the slider from, desk top, notebook, tablet, mobile devices etc. and webpages that have been partially minimized by the users, this 3 wide carousell should first shrink the slider in size , than as that is no longer feasible decrease it to 2 slides and eventually to 1 slide. It does not appear to do that.

The settings are [Fullwidth]
Screen 400 x 264
Custom Grid Size ON
Notebook 400 x 264
Tablet 400 x 264
Mobile 400 x 264 (this one looks good)

You can see from the screenshot below that the two outside slides are truncated and not simply shrunk to fit. Is this just an issue if the viewer has shrunk their screen, or it it an issue on narrower devices sas well?

How should this actually be set up?

Hi Loren,

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes it’s quite weird, and I can’t reproduce this on my end. Could you try changing your carousel max visible items to one and enable stretch option? Then make sure other device responsive options are on.

Thanks!

We want 3 Slides to show at once. Why do you want it changed to show only one slide?
Second, from a previous try, if the height is greater than 264, the entire page becomes the Slider.
I will give you access.

Hello Loren,

To display 3 slides, this will only work in larger screens. In smaller screens, you do not have enough space which is why only the active slide will be displayed in full. This is how the Rev Slider Carousel work. If you want to display 3 slides all at the same time, then the Rev Slider Carousel is not what you are looking for.

You can use Essential Grid plugin as an alternative. The problem is that you cannot display it as a carousel. It will just display 3 item grid with no carousel feature.

Hope this explains your issue briefly.
