Looking through this, with Essential Grid are all the grid items images?
Because, this is what I want to achieve: http://demo.theme.co/ethos-1/shortcodes/responsive-slider/, but in a more hybrid way, where I take content blocks I have, combine them with an image, that scroll through in a carousel style, so I can have various product images and features in one carousel section.

You might also want to checkout the Revolution Slider plugin as you can choose your Woocommerce products are the source of the slider and you can create a carousel style slider like this:
