Can't Validate Theme

Hello,

I have a website built with X theme, it’s been fully customized with cornerstone. I moved it from a staging domain to the actual domain and now I can’t validate the license so I can update the theme.

The X > Validate page looks totally different and will not accept my code, it just turns to a white page.

I have updated the domain info on the apex license page.

Thanks for writing in! Please check your PHP version running on your server and make sure to use a version like v5.6.x or higher. And also you need to enable PHP cURL extension on your server and enable allow_url_fopen.

Also check and make sure that you have installed latest version of X theme and Cornerstone plugin. You can see the version information from here (https://theme.co/changelog/) and download the latest version from your Enavto account and update by following this guide (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

Thanks for getting back to me.

I was trying to update the theme but I couldn’t validate it to download the update. If I manually update the theme will my customizations remain or will they be deleted and have to start all over?

Hi There,

If you didn’t edit the parent theme directly, all the customization(theme options, custom CSS, …) would be safe.
