I have not been able to find a solution to this issue and I’ve tried dozens of fixes and asked in multiple forums for help.

And now I can’t create a new page or post as well.

Unfortunately this problem is not something that’s related with X Theme but more to do with hosting setup. Did you had a chat with the hosting support team regarding this problem?
I would suggest you to setup a staging server but not using current hosting provider, and then copy the website to staging server and see how image upload feature performs.
