Can't Update Cornerstone

Hey Guys,

thanks for your good service in advance.

I want to Update the Cornerstone Plugin and even if I have the theme activated, it doesn’t work.

What can I do? I read delete the “Cornerstone-Folder” and install new. But isn’t deleted all my content than?

Hi there Christoph,

Thanks for writing in! As long as the theme is validated, you should be able to automatically update Cornerstone from your wp-admin > updates.

If you want to manually update, deactivate and delete Cornerstone (all content will still be there, as it’s stored in the database). Then visit your wp-admin > X and the latest version of Cornerstone will be automatically installed.
