Can't send via Mailpoet

Hi !

We have about 5000 subscribers, and can’t send out e-mail newsletter to them because the Mailpoet send-button is disabled and I have a new message showing up saying:

“Congratulations, you now have more than 2000 subscribers! Our free version is limited to 2000 subscribers. You need to upgrade now to be able to continue using MailPoet.”

On January 12th it worked fine when I sent out a newsletter to the 5000+ subscribers, see enclosed screenshot.

We use Mailgun to send out the e-mails.

The only thing I’ve changed on the site since Jan 12th is that I’ve upgraded Mailpoet.

Any ideas of what the problem can be solved?

Thanks
/Anders

According to your website the MailPoet Premium, which allows 2000+ subscribers, is include in the X Theme license - https://theme.co/docs/mailpoet

There seems to be some confusion around this as a previous discussion betwwen an X-user and X-support didn’t seem to solve his issue - https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/problem-with-mailpoet-mailpoet-premium-plugin/68622

Thanks

Hello Anders,

Thanks for writing in!

You can read more about MailPoet here:

MailPoet lets you use a wide array of sending providers. One rather new addition is their native sending service which can be tested for free but if you have over 2,000 subscribers you will need to pay for that service. If you go with the Other setting you can either use the native web server or use services like Amazon SES or SendGrid.

Please be advised that we do not have any control of the changes with MailPoet plugin and it’s services whenever their creators pleases. With the current Pricing plan for MailPoet Premium, only up to 1000 subscribers are free. Beyond that, you will need to pay for the added service.

Hope this explains it briefly.
