for some reason my most recent post isn’t showing an image with it.

There is no image to display because you did not assign any featured image for this post. It is evident in this screenshot:

Please edit your post and insert a featured image to resolve your issue.

strange, for some reason I am not seeing that option when i go back to edit the post

Hello @Laura,

To add a featured image to your posts, please do this:

1.) Go to Posts, find the post and click “Edit”

2.) When you are in the post editing screen, click the Gear or Settings icon

3.) And then insert your featured image:
