Can't post a widget with Cornerstone

Hi,
I’m trying to install a widget on my client’s website which is seabrightcrossfit.com.

When attempting to install a live review widget on their site, the Cornerstone editor would not load despite multiple different attempts on multiple computers. Can you shed any light on this or install it on your side? Ideally, we would like this to be on the front page between the footer and praises section.

Please note that 3rd party plugin compatibility issues are outside the scope of our support. There are hundreds or thousands of 3rd party plugin and it’s impossible to predict any incompatibility.

Though I would like to try it in my test site and check if I get the same eror. Can you provide us the download link for that plugin.

Got it. I do understand that but it might be that I’m just doing it wrong in terms of trying to install. Here is the widget.

Hello Molly,

I have logged in to the site and it could be caused by different reasons. It seems that the site is using a very old version of X and Cornerstone which might be causing the issue and conflicts with the plugin that you are trying to install.

You might want to consider updating everything to the latest version and test it carefully. But we do strongly recommend that if you do so, do it first in a staging site so that the live site will not be affected.

Aside from that, the plugin that you are trying to install might no be compatible with the X and Cornerstone version of the site and it would be best to get in touch with the developer of the plugin.

HI there,
Thank you for your feedback and ideas. I did update cornerstone and the rest of the plugins. Now I"m trying to install the widget and think I’m having a hard Time because I’m more used to installing widgets from this Corneerstone platform. I couldn’t find the widget input section, where I can paste in the widget. I am used to installing widgets directly through Wordpress interface. Can you help me know where or how I can get this widget installed within the Cornerstone platform?

Thanks for updating the thread.

I tried taking a look at your website and didn’t saw Dynamic Review Widget. In case you are having issues installing the plugin, can you share the URL of the plugin from where I can download the plugin and test on my dev setup. I tried looking at WordPress plugin repository but I didn’t came across a plugin named Dynamic Review Widget.

Once the widget is installed, in case you want to display in a page layout using Cornerstone then you can use the shortcode which most of the developers provide into Cornerstone Raw Content or Text element.

Hi There,
I can try that. Are you saying to get the widget "Dynamic Widget Content. “That’s the only one I found that was close to 'dynamic review widget.” Which plugin are you saying I should install? And where to find it? I did find

I installed the “amr shortcode any widget” plugin. I can give that a try too. OR are you saying to get a different plug in as well? Thanks
