Hi,
I’ve created like 50 or more sites with X so am very familiar with it, and the theme installation process. My hosting company checked and there’s nothing wrong with the server etc. But on this one site, whenever I try to upload the theme via WP dashboard, it gives an error (although I made max upload size larger).
The errors are either: “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.” or about there not being enough php memory or something to do it. (but technically, there is!)
I tried both uploading via dashboard and uploading to Themes folder via FTP. With FTP method, I can then activate the theme but the site frontend just gives error: "This page isn’t working
[the domain] is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
I tried also uploading Cornerstone separately to Plugins. But I can’t get the theme installed. My hosting spotted this error somewhere along the line when they were trying to help:
[20-Oct-2018 14:26:40 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function x_get_stack() in /home/MYDOMAIN/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/index.php on line 16
[20-Oct-2018 14:27:14 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function x_get_stack() in /home/MYDOMAIN/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/index.php on line 16
[20-Oct-2018 14:27:18 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function x_get_stack() in /home/MYDOMAIN/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/index.php on line 16
I’ll give you the WP login info & FTP info in my next message. If we could just get the theme installed, that would be amazing!
Thanks for your help. I’m baffled.
