Can't insert paths to CSS/JS files

I am using the Insert Headers and Footers, and place this in the header:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="//[sitenamehidden]/wp-content/scripts/Magnific-Popup-master/dist/magnific-popup.css">

<link rel="stylesheet" href="//[sitenamehidden]/wp-content/scripts/Magnific-Popup-master/dist/jquery.magnific-popup.js">

But this doesn’t load on the site. Everything I put in the ‘footer’ does, though.

I even tried entering this manually in the ‘raw content’ in cornerstone on the pageview, but looking at the code on the backend, it seems it strips out this code.

I’ve cleared the site cache, any other ideas? Thanks!!

Please disregard. There was an issue with an optimization plug-in. Leaving this solution in case other people have similar problems.
