Can't get the navigation bar to stop hidding elements heneath it

Hello there,
I am using Renew Stack and I noticed that the navigation (when given a color) hide section of any element beneath it. How can I make the navigation to be fixed on top of any section please?

I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you meant by:

It would be best that you give us a clear picture of what you’d like to achieve. For example, making the Navbar transparent would show the section or content underneath it but it will no look good. There’s no solution to that but to really have a solid colored Navbar background.

Please clarify.

the green header hide part of the slider image and that is the dame for the same in any other pages
