I cannot get into the backend of my website. It says “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I checked and see instructions for doing stuff, but I’d have to be in my website in order to perform any of those actions, and I can’t get in. Please help!
Do you have FTP access of this site? The simplest solution if you are comfortable there is to delete the theme folder in wp-content/themes/(pro or x).
If you site is emailing at all I’d try recovery mode too.
I can have whatever access I need, but I don’t know what FTP is, and this is a foreign language to me. I went to my host site (Dreamhost) and clicked on FTP. I don’t see a folder called wp-content/themes
Great you have what you need through DreamHost. So based on that screenshot it’s in firstclassmarriage.com/wp-content/themes . Moving the theme and then reuploading the new upgraded theme in WordPress will help you get back on online
