Can't Find Where To Remove RevSlider Code from header!

Hey guys -
I’m having a strange issue here. Even though my theme is not using Revslider, I have to have it installed and activated in order to avoid a strange layout issue in my header, where it’s still showing a code that’s inserted:

That’s what it looks like when I have revslider disabled.

When it is enabled, it disappears - but I don’t have anything revslider-related in my header!

I will send you guys a secure msg with login details to see if you can figure it out?

Hello @adkseorev,

Thanks for writing to us.

I tried to access the site dashboard, but the given login URL is not accessible at the moment on my end. Please recheck and send us the correct login URL so we can check it on our end.

Thanks

That is the correct login. Click Continue - I had the under construction plugin enabled. Should be good now!

Hello @adkseorev,

It might be a cache issue. I went ahead and purged all the cache from the plugin. I cannot see any Slider Revolution shortcode at the moment. Please check your site now. If the issue still persists, please let us know with a marked screenshot.

Thanks

Yep, it’s gone now. Thanks!

You are most welcome, @adkseorev

@prakash_s So I’m having this exact same issue on another site I’m building. Can you tell me what you did to fix this? I tried clearing the cache and all css minified from SpeedyCache, but the code is still showing on this new site.

I’d rather you tell me how to fix it on my end so I don’t have to bother you with this same issue I’m sure to encounter in the future.

Hello @adkseorev,

I cleared the cache on my end, and the site is working as expected.

If you’ve already cleared the cache and the issue still persists, I’d recommend the following:

  1. Go to Settings → Permalinks , change the permalink structure to Plain , and click Save Changes . Then change it back to Post name and save again. This will refresh the site’s rewrite rules.

  2. If the issue still persists, edit the affected page and check the Page Settings to see if a Slider Revolution slider is assigned. If one is selected, change it to Deactivate and save the page.

Please let us know if the issue persists after trying these steps.

Thanks

I changed the perma to Plain, saved, and then changed it back again. The rev slide code is still showing at the top of the homepage.

I looked in the page settings in cornerstone but do not see anything slider- revolution related.

I just sent you a secure note with login information.

Hello @adkseorev,

I checked the page and edited it using the Edit button. Then I went to Page Settings → Slider, selected Deactivated, and clicked Save .

Hope it helps
Thanks

a ha! Thank you - I was looking in Cornerstone page settings, not WP editor page settings. Thank you for showing me how to fix this in the future! good to go!

You are most welcome, @adkseorev
