Thanks for writing in! Are you referring to the Essential Grid that you added on the page? You will have edit your Essential Grid skin and add the excerpts. Please check out this documentation instead:

I don’t think that is what I’m needing. On a wordpress built in post you should be able to add an excerpt on the post. Not sure if Pro has this turned off.

Please go to Posts > All Posts and select which post you want to edit. When you are on the editing screen, you should be able to see it in the right side panel of the screen.
