Can't edit homepage in Cornerstone

I have updated to 7.2.3 and now I don’t have any content in cornerstone when trying to edit my homepage. However the homepage is still visible to visitors. If i try to go to the edit page from word press I see all of the code and images under “visual”. If i click edit with cornerstone, all I see is the footer and no content is available.

The odd thing is if i try to edit other pages in cornerstone the content is there to edit. Has anyone encountered this before?

Hey @MCoolU,

We have reports of Cornerstone content disappearing but they’re caused by third-party factors such as mentioned in our Common Issues article. Please first perform all of the basic troubleshooting steps mentioned in there and confirm if none of them helps.

Only if none of them helps, give us the following info in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP access.

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

I have already tried that. The odd thing is that the content of the site appears when i go into theme options or customize but not cornerstone.

Hey @MCoolU,

Your page has been edited outside of Cornerstone either by a plugin or someone managing your site. It’s also possible that the page builder data got lost when you used the All in One WP Migration plugin.

I’m sorry to report that there’s no way to recover lost data but to revert your site from a previous working state. Please ask your web host if they have a backup of your site and ask them to restore.

Thank you for understanding.
