“The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing.”
message and I cant edit anything.

Thank you in advane!

Hello @Ammnessia,

Thanks for asking. :slight_smile:

Would you mind trying these general solutions.

  1. Ensure you are fully up to date. See our changelog.
  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.
  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

If nothing helps, please give us WP Admin and FTP access in a Secure Note.

Thanks.

Hi!
Tried everything but didnt work… Ive posted a security note with web access.
Thanks!

Hey @Ammnessia,

When I opened your home page in Cornerston at first, the warning notice showed up. I clicked the Try Again button and Cornerstone loaded fine when I waited a few more seconds. So I could show you that it worked, I added a period before and after your headline (see Secure Note).

Please clear your browser’s cache or test in incognito mode. If the message pops up still, click the Try Again button. Here are the possible causes:

  • Resource (i.e memory, cpu, execution time, etc) limitation in your server / web host. Please check with your web host if your site has been limited this past days and also ask them to increase your memory and max execution time.
  • Bloated or unoptimized database. Try to install a transient cleaner and clean all the transients. There are many guides online that teaches how to optimize your WordPress database. Please backup your site before doing database optimization

Thanks.
