Since the Cornerstone update, editing content is ridiculous. The editor pane is so tiny and hardly user-friendly. Is there a setting to override this, make it expand to full width or can I revert to previous version of Cornerstone that worked better?

There’s no way to go back to the previous version but to revert from a database backup.

Sorry, but we do not provide older versions of the theme except the stable versions (X 4.6.4 & Cornerstone 1.3.3), you can download it from the dashboard. I advice that you keep the current latest version as reverting it might cause you more issues.
Our Dev Team had already took care of this small text area issue, but we are still testing it so we can not provide an ETA when is the next release of update.
If you can’t work on a small text area, what you can do for now is copy your text content on a text editor (notepad++ or sublime, etc.), edit your content there and copy it back to the text element after you finished editing it.

Thank you for your reply. Your solution is not a great option. My client will find that more annoying than the current unfriendly interface. Either I’ll wait for the update or I’ll be leaving X-theme for good.
