Can't edit Blog-page (post archive) and post-page (post template)

Hi there,

I’m using the latest version of the x theme. I have some problems integration the email forms plugin.

I’ve integrated it successfully on the homepage. my url is http:// niels van den bergh .com

But on the blog-page and the post-page it misses the styling.

When I try to ‘edit’ the blog and post page, suddenly the styling of the page changes to the correct one, but then all contents are lost.

Before hitting edit button all is good except for the email form styling: http://prntscr.com/hsa885
After hitting edit button the email form styling is correct but the rest is wrong: http://prntscr.com/hsa8wz

Hi there,

If you are talking about a page which you set in the Settings > Reading as the posts page then please consider that you can not use our builders for those pages, as it is set as the posts page and all the information and layout of the page is retrieved from the PHP file responsible for the layout.

You will need code customization to add any kind of information or shortcode there. Customization of the theme is outside of our support scope and we will not be able to implement the feature for you, but we can give you the correct direction to do it yourself.

Please install the Child Theme and copy the file below:

wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/global/_index.php

to:

wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/global/_index.php

You may need to add proper folders in your child theme to copy the file.

After that you can add the shortcode of the Email Form inside that file using the do_shortcode function.
