Can't Edit Audio with Image post

Hello
I have renamed the Audio With Image post that came with the x-theme to Perfect.
The audio bar is hardly visible so I want to edit it to change the color to white.
I clicked on Edit with Cornerstone but when I click on the image, Cornerstone does not recognize that I selected an object so I can’t edit it.
I am not sure if I can edit this directly or if I will have to use css but I am not able to. get Cornerstone to respond to try either one
I cannot think of another approach to accomplish this.
I would appreciate it if you could please tell me what I am missing.
I am currently working on my local host so if you need to look at it, I will have to move it online.
Thank you
Bill

Hi Bill,

Thank you for reaching out to us. You cannot edit the audio player of the Audio post because the audio post format is used to show an audio instead of the feature image of the post or alongside the image, you probably can change the appearance using custom CSS.

Here are some related links for further reading, this could help you in finding and implementing some CSS fixes:

Hope this helps!

Nabeel.
Thank you. The information you provided will be very helpful.
I do know CSS but I can’t find a place to edit the css. My question, related to this, was about not being able to work with css in Cornerstone. I hope this information tells me how to find a place to edit the css without editing the file directly.
I hope it is ok if I ask you another question. I have several pages that have code like the following but I cannot find any documentation on the meaning of individual codes: or how to use these short codes, especially when short codes are embedded in other short codes. If possible, could you please point me to documentation that discusses this? Thank you
[cs_content][cs_element_section _id=“1” ][cs_element_layout_row _id=“2” ][cs_element_layout_column _id=“3” ][cs_element_headline _id=“4” ][cs_element_map _id=“5” ][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=“6” ][cs_element_layout_row _id=“7” ][cs_element_layout_column _id=“8” ]

Hi William,

If you don’t know how to use CSS. I suggest that you will seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

On the other hand, the shortcode you are seeing is coming from our builder. I suggest that don’t make an edit on that shortcode because you might not be able to edit your page with the cornerstone builder.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hello
I do know some CSS. I took a course on it. However, when I opened this page in Cornerstone and then inspected it to get the css window, I had several problems. First, the css window did not highlight the code for the field I clicked on. The naming convention is not very descriptive so it is hard to identify relevant code. I did find the code for the Play button but I am unable to find the code that controls the color for the play button. It is not inline and I did not find a style section that is relevant. Is there documentation that identifies the naming convention used in the css coding or some other aide?
Thank you
Bill.

I got everything working just fine the way I want it with CSS.
Thank you for your help
Bill

We’re glad to hear that, Bill.
