Can't Change Woocommerce Buttons

Hey,

How do I change the background color and text color of my woocommerce buttons? I tried

.woocommerce .button {
color: #fffafa;
background: #333
text-shadow: none;
}

and for some reason it is only responding to the text shadow.

Thanks for writing in! To resolve your issue, please have your custom css updated. You can make use of this code instead:

.woocommerce a.button {
  color: #fffafa;
  background-color: #333;
  text-shadow: none;

  -webkit-appearance: none;
    -moz-appearance: none;
    appearance: none;
}
