Can't change colors in Chrome

Pretty simple. When in Header/Footer Builders and try to click on any of the color boxes to pop up to make color changed, they don’t. Works perfect in Firefox.

Anyone else have this issue and have a solution. I tried turning off all my plugins to see if there was a conflict, but did’nt help.

Hey,

Try to clear your cache and if the issue persists, provide to us your website link and the WP credentials in a secure note, please.

It works in Chrome when I tested. If you have browser extensions, please disable them then test again.

Thanks.

Geniuses here in this group.

Yes, there must be an addon conflict. Although I only use about five, after disabling all of them it started working.

Thanks much for your help, not sure which one yet, but will troubleshoot to see.

I figured it out…

It does not look like it is an extension itself, If i have developers mode on in my extensions, it stops working. Not sure what that means exactly but I know now to turn it off.

Glad to hear you got it sorted.

Cheers!

After lots of trouble, not just with xTheme, but other things as well (logging into Vimeo windows not showing up, etc), I have been able to finally duplicate this:

I had to turn off “Use hardware acceleration when available” in my chrome settings and the windows will appear. If turned it on, any popup windows like the color selector will not show up.

Maybe this might help others…

Thank you for sharing. So to sum it up, the issue was caused by either hardware limitation and/or non-standard browser configuration.

Exactly. But for most people that do programming or web development would have these features turned on and are racking their brain why it does not work. Or at least I did.

Great!
Thanks for sharing your insights.
