Can't assign header to "global header"

Hi,

I have built a header menu, but not found a way to assign it to the site to override the default one that comes with the ‘agency’ site from design cloud. In the header menu settings, I can assign the header to “entire site”, but this doesn’t do anything. I do not have the option for “global header” visible anywhere.

Hi @dougaled,

Thank you for writing in, please do the following, specially the clearing of all your caching features as this one is the common cause on this kind of issue.

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility)

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.

  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Thanks - I have done all of this - it is still not working. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @dougaled,

Custom Header is showing up now, the issue seems to reside in the transients cache from Hummingbird.

Cheers,

Hi @dougaled,

Do you have a follow-up question? I see you withdrawn your reply?

Yes, please can you let me know where this setting is?

I am trying to set different a header for homepage to the rest of the site. The header you previously set is currently showing for all pages and I can’t seem assign a different header to any page.

Hi @dougaled,

Thanks for the credentials, I did check the header conditions settings and you got that right.

The issue is again with Hummingbird Transients cache when I clear that the ioi site header shows up on inner pages. I see you deactivate it but that does not mean its cache is clear. You can clear this type of cache under Hummingbird Pro > Advance Tools > Database Cleanup > All Transients

Hope it helps,
Cheers!
