Can't add any elements to content page

Attempting to drag elements into content window but nothing works. Click and drag element and a corresponding blue icon follows the cursor over but nothing takes when item is hovered or dropped into the content region. Have tried re-installing the theme. Tried both Chrome and Firefox, disabled all browser extensions and cleared cache. Checked compatibility chart. Seeing the problem in both Pro and X. Have watched tutorials and read threads where users were experiencing similar issues. Impossible to build any content currently. Very frustrating.

Update - elements seem to be working on pages other than “home page”.

Thanks for writing in.

It could be due to javascript error or conflicts. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Then please provide your site’s URL and login credentials in a secure note. And I’ll check your home page’s content builder.
