Cant active background parallax effect for sections

I am using x theme and cornerstone in a localhost, i am trying to use parallax effect for background of my some sections, i do everything as i learned in tutorials, but i dont get parallax effect.
i tried different images for upper and lower layer, then i activated the parallax effect for each one alone and together i didnt get any effect,
but when i increased the layer size i got a parallax effect, but i dont want that it zooms my images and pixelate them.
to make clear what i did:

i created a section, i put a lower layer background image for it using cornerstone, then i enabled the parallax for it, i got no parallax, but when i increased the size of layer like 200% i got a parallax but i want it to be parallax on 100% layer size.
