Can't activate license after transferring site

I’ve had this a few times now. If I push a site live from staging to live or transfer it to a new server (and therefore new URL) it asks me to reactivate the license which makes sense. It’s a new URL. However, each time I put the license in, it says its activated but then isnt.

I’m on the unlimited licenses so shouldn’t matter about it adding a new one. I’ve tried revoking and readding which doesn’t work, neither does clearing all caches.

I’ve also tried disabling all plugins etc etc.

Is there somewhere that the license is ‘locked’ or needs clearing from the database/theme to allow it to be re-added?

So I tried this again this morning and both sites activated fine.
I’ve notice a few other people raising the same issue again.
It ‘feels’ like a caching thing in that once that has cleared it works.

Glad to hear this is resolved now. This might have been a temporary issue with a validation server or as stated caching. All the best!
