Can't activate Cornerstone after update. Site now broken

I’ve just tried updating plugins and have broken my site. Deactivating Cornerstone helped but now I can’t use X.

If I try to activate it takes me to https://atsip.ac.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=x-addons-home&_cs_activate_nonce=32be3d3222
and gives an error message:

This page isn’t working

atsip.ac.uk is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Please could you try and help?

I’ve now seen that it’s a PHP issue.

When I click on the update PHP message I get sent to:
https://lp.cloudlinux.com/hardenedphp-wp

Yes, this is a known issue with PHP version. If you can’t upgrade your PHP version, I highly suggest that you ask help in your hosting provider.

Thank you. I discovered from my hosting company that I was able to upgrade the version of PHP myself and the site is working again.
