Hi @thisisbbc,

Thanks for reaching out. That error log is very helpful in understanding what’s going on here. I checked your site and it looks like you’re running 4.0.0-RC5. Could you try updating to 4.0.0? I recall us fixing the error message you’re getting before the official release. Let us know how that goes!

I am having the same issue…I just downloaded 4.0.0 and am unable to utilize Global Blocks. When I click the green “Create Global Block” button, nothing happens…I have tried to clear my cache, have signed in and out of WP…no avail.

Same here…

Hey @alexander!

Thanks for the reply. I have updated to the latest release and flushed all cache and now I can access the GB section just fine

@Alexander – just for the heck of it, I re-downloaded Pro 4.0, installed and overwrote the original Pro 4.0 install, and cleared my cache. No avail. Same problem – I can not create a Global Block (I click the green “Create Global Block” button and it ‘presses’ in, but does not respond).

Thinking the issue was Safari, I logged into WP admin from Chrome and Firefox, then tried to create a Global Block in those browsers. Again, nothing.

Please help! This is a critical workflow feature for me. Thanks!

I can confirm I’m also having this issue.

It wasn’t immediately clear to me as I did not try to create a new GB. I can browse through existing GBs and edit previous GBs, but I cannot create a new one, it just doesn’t do anything.

When clicking on “Create global block” the following error appears in the console:

    app.fe32a70.js:42
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: c is not a function

Sorry about that everyone! There were actually two issues here… The first one was solved in 4.0.0 and resulted in Global Blocks not being accessible and the second prevents them from being created. We had a few last minute adjustments to get in on the other builders and introduced this regression yesterday. The issue creating Global Blocks has been fixed for the next point release.

Thanks! @Alexander, when can we expect the next point release?

We just pushed it live.
