I’m trying to remove a header banner in red that I applied during the pandemic. The customise menu has changed and I can’t find out how to do this. Tried to click on ‘customise x in theme options’ but got critical error.
Hi @jimmillard,
Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked and found that you are still using the older version of X i.e. 10.2.5 and the Cornerstone version i.e. 7.2.5. I would suggest you update the X and Cornerstone by following the below steps and check if that issue is resolved or not.
- Delete the existing Cornerstone
- Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
- After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be on the latest version
The menu structure is changed in few versions ago, and you can find all of those under the Cornerstone menu.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
HI thanks for your help I’ve done those actions. When I click on cornerstone in the dashboard it just goes to a page that says a critical error has occurred.
Hi @jimmillard,
I have checked and found there is a problem with the 3rd party plugin named WP SVG Icons. I would suggest you contact the plugin author on this. Please remember that we don’t offer any support to 3rd party plugin and related issues.
I have temporarily deactivated this plugin, and now Cornerstone is loading perfectly.
Thanks
Thanks for your help. Site looking and working much better now. I notice that the main heading on the homepage, ‘Book Your Slot Today’, on a red background, has some code appearing in grey “<”h1″ id=””bong”" class=“h-custom-headline ”book-strap1″ ”h6″” style="”padding:">"
Hello @jimmillard,
It seems that you have added an invalid CSS syntax on the Row inline style. I went ahead and remove that now the site working fine.
Please check your site now.
Thanks
