Cannot login only in Edge Windows10 and cart empty in Woocommerce

Hi there, thank You for your time,

Mozilla Firefox and Chrome work perfectly with Wordpress 4.8.1 and ThemeX 5.1.1
Last week I noticed that Microsoft Edge 38.14393.1066.0 gives two problems:
1 the Woocommerce 3.1.1 cart remains empty after adding items in the shop,
2 it might be another problem but I cannot login using Edge. Firefox and Chrome no problems.

Searching and debugging for almost a week now, without succes. I deactivated practically every plugin, cleared caches, check errorlogs and reports of Woocommerce and browsed and browed in fora. Any idea please?

Much thanks in advance,
Ferry

Hey Ferry,

Please provide us with the URL (in a Secure Note if you prefer) to your shop page so we could try adding a product to cart and see the issue in MS Edge.

Thanks.

I tried adding to cart in Edge and I didn’t experience an issue.

Your login issue is unlikely to be caused by a theme. I tried in Edge, Chrome and Firefox and here’s what I see.

Please contact your hosting provider or a third party developer to fix.

Thanks.

Hi there,

The problem is not in the login but the magically emptied cart.
Last week I noticed that Microsoft Edge (and now in other browsers like Chrome and one in Linux as well, their Woocommerce cart is emptied after adding items in the shop after clicking on the cart.

Searching and debugging for almost a week now, without succes. I deactivated practically every plugin, cleared caches, check errorlogs and reports of Woocommerce and browsed and browed in fora. Any idea please?

Many thanks for your time and energy in advance,
Ferry

Hi again,

Thank you for the update, I checked your site in Edge using Windows 10 and i couldn’t replicate the issue on my end either, I checked in Chrome as well and everything looks good. Can you please provide a video recording of the issue so we can take a look?

Thanks!

After clicking Cart empties the customers cart in some browser on some laptops, pc’s etc but then always in that browser. At home, I myself only got this problem with Edge as described. Others allways at other browsers.

I’m sorry but this really doesn’t happen on our end so there’s nothing we could investigate. See https://youtu.be/T01b0ljBbYw. In this case, you will need to hire a third party developer who experiences this issue.

Thank you for understanding.

it was a blocked cookie problem. Thank you Christian.

You’re always welcome!

Glad you have found the cause of the issue.
