Just purchased the X theme and already off to a rocky start. I need to install the necessary plugins and I’m receiving the following message:
“You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on this server”
I’m running on a Godaddy WordPress Pro account server. Any immediate help would be appreciated.
Actually, I think I’ll stop right here. Given all the support issues I’m seeing in this forum, I would like a refund. How can we make that happen?

Thanks for writing in! Please understand that X is just a WordPress theme that styles your site content with added features and customization options out of the box. We have provided plugins that may help you achieve more elements added to your site.
Meanwhile, this error:
"You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on this server"
is a server related error which is way beyond X theme. This error is probably coming from your web-server rather than WordPress or the X theme. The wp-admin/admin-ajax.php file needs to be accessible to direct requests, from users both logged-into your site and not. It might help to diagnose your configuration if you could let us know what server you’re using. Do you have any security plugins installed that could be causing this, or do you have any additional rules in your .htaccess file?
Also, you should try contacting your hosting provider for you server setup and to see if something there is causing this.
