Cannot get {{dc:term:title}} to work

Hi!

Got a page where I’ve set up a Query Builder where the post type is a custom post type and the set taxonomy is a category. In the headline for the list, I want the category name, {{dc:term:title}} but it doesn’t return any text.

I’ve followed this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkP_4NFTd6s (Loopers: Using Multiple Providers) from you guys but can’t get it to work.
It’s pulling through data when I call for posts, {{dc:post:title}} and similar, but dc:term doesn’t function as in the video.

Anything I’m doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi Christoffer,

Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to recognize the reason behind it without investigating it through the Admin Dashboard. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific Page where you have this problem.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hey Christopher,

Thanks for providing your details! To display the {{dc:term:title}}, you need another Looper Provider called Current Post Term. That being said, I suggest that you wrap your headline for the list with a div.

Then in the div, set the Looper Provider as Current Post Term and the taxonomy is categories then set your text element as Looper Consumer.

You can check in this video starting at 7:25 on how it works.

Hope that helps.

Hi again!

Thanks for the info.

I got another kind of alarming issue: This layout I linked to you guys just got completely empty about 2 hours ago , and I have no idea why.

Can you assist me with help on this?
It is also named app.layouts. for some reason, instead of the old name.

Hey Christopher,

We’re not quite sure what happened to your layout. As you can see from my screenshots your sections are still there. Regretfully, there’s no history on the Layout, you need to redo everything on that Layout but if you have any full backup of your website, you can use that backup to restore the data.

Thank you.

I do have a backup from a few hours ago, but I’m hoping to save that time

Are you able to see if you can see the Layout right now from your part?

actually, I’m just doing the backup recovery anyways. Thanks

Hey Christopher,

I check your Layout and I also don’t see anything either but I am glad that you had a backup of your website.

Cheers!
