Cannot edit with Cornerstone and other issues

I’ve searched for and read many similar topics. But nothing helps.

This clients website (https://www.thecommonthread.co.uk) was quite out of date in terms of Wordpress software, plugins, PHP version and of course the theme. All is now updated and the PHP version is 7.4.

I’ve found 2 issues;

1. First, I cannot edit any pages, footer or header.

2. Within the header, the dropdowns are now not working.

I’ve already done a full conflict check for themes and plugins but the issues persists.

Can you help please?

Thank you for reaching out to us. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

I’ve managed to fix it. Took me ages and a lot of ‘Googling’ the issue. Nailed it down to another plugin conflict (I’d already fixed one). All sorted now.
