Cannot edit or create new pages in Cornerstone

I cannot call up exiting pages originally created in Cornerstone editor. Screen comes up blank, the sections are missing. I also cannot create a new page either; unable to add content to a new page. I’ve updated to the latest version of X theme, but to no avail.

I see that you are using X Theme 6.4.6 and Cornerstone 3.4.6. Please update X Theme and Cornerstone to latest version i.e X Theme 6.5.6 and Cornerstone 3.5.6. Here’s some resources that you can take a look to update X Theme and Cornerstone.

I’m working from a staging environment where both versions are up-to-date. This problem has been happening for months. Occurred after a previous update. Since then, I cannot update my home page in Cornerstone.

If you’re getting a blank screen, most probably it could be a PHP fatal error. Please enable WP_DEBUG mode on your WordPress and re-visit your page to see if you’re getting any PHP error messages. To enable WP_DEBUG mode, you can refer to the following resource (https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG).

If you see any error related to PHP memory such as running out of allocated memory, you can follow our guide on how to increase memory limit (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935).
