Cannot change sub indicator on menu in header builder?

Hi there!

I am trying to change to sub indicator for the inline menu in my footer, see screenshot 1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ws315mgngsyydd0/2017-10-25%2009_48_59-footer.png?dl=0

However, for some reason, the changed icon is not reflected? See screenshot 2, where it remains the same: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mry39t85y4cfxgx/2017-10-25%2009_49_56%20footer%202.png?dl=0

Other changes (removing sub indicator entirely, changing color, etc.) are also not reflected.

Please note that CACHING IS TURNED OFF ENTIRELY.

Hey there,

Changing the icon for each menu item needs to be done in Appearance > Menu.

Changing the color doesn’t work because there’s a problem with saving the header. It says it saved but actually, it didn’t.

Please do the following:

  1. Clear all caches including server and browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

  5. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

If nothing helps, please provide cPanel credentials.

Thanks, I will try that.

One question though… If the sub indicator icon must be changed elsewhere… Then why is there an icon selector for it in the header builder?

The icon setting for the subindicator option is for the second level menu that has some sub items.
