Cannot change default section child (grid instead of row)

Used to have a setting in preferences, to default to Grid instead of Row (barf). Can’t find it now. I thought it might have been a bug, but a few releases down, and still nothing in release notes, nor in the update itself.

Also tried finding the proper DEV Toolkit setting, but can’t find it in any of the JSON key/values to edit.

Thanks for writing to us.

In order to add the Grid inside the section I would suggest you go to the Page —>Hold CTRL —>Click on the Add Element —>Select the Grid. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Hi @prakash_s, thank you, I do currently use that.
There used to be a preference though, that allowed it to be set default child to Grid instead of Row.
I just didn’t see it anywhere listed as deprecated.
Is it officially gone?

The option is available at the moment, I suspect this could be a bug and have reported it to the developers for investigation. I would request you, please stay tuned for succeeding theme updates.
