Cannot assign single layout to ACF post type

I don’ know why, but for some reason I cannot output a single layout for ACF post type. The default blog-post custom single-layout works great, but I have a bunch of ACF post types, which work throughout the site; however I cannot assign a single layout template to any of the ACF and see them generate with the assign template on the frontend. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
